5 Charming Small Towns in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania is full of charming attractions that you can visit alone or with friends. If you are used to living in large cities such as Philadelphia, considering settling or visiting a small town is an excellent idea. The state is full of unique small towns that will leave unforgettable memories in you. Whether you are visiting in summer, winter, or spring, these towns have every attraction you might ever think about.

Wellsboro

Wellsboro is one of the charming small towns you can visit. Its oldest building was constructed in 1806. Its vintage buildings and art still stand today, displaying their timeless beauty to both locals and visitors. The Grand Canyon gorge is a short distance from the town, and it provides picturesque views.

Although Wellsboro doesn’t have casinos, it is a common habit to see people in the area playing games of chance. PA online casinos provide players with a wide range of options for gambling games. It doesn’t matter the place you are in because you can place bets from any corner of PA.

Johnstown

Johnstown should be at the top of your list when you plan a travel to Pennsylvania. The older Johnstown was destroyed by floods in 1889. It was rebuilt and includes dozens of attractions, such as the Johnstown Flood Museum. The town dwellers organize folk festivals every year that bring together different ethnic groups from Cambria County. The town is home to a large number of restaurants, hotels, and shopping places.

Ridgeway

Ridgeway is a fascinating town located at the edge of Allegheny Forest. If you love farm-to-table dining, this town is a good choice. It is dotted with traditional food dining places such as Paesanos II and Joey’s Bakery. Its narrow streets are charming, with beautiful vegetation along the walkways. You will love its old buildings and the natural features around the town. Unlike large cities, a small town such as Ridgeway is more secure. Its organized home security is optimum.

Boiling Springs

The first people to settle in Boiling Springs chose the place due to its fresh springs. The town’s unusual name is due to the fact that sometimes the springs look like they are boiling. The town hasn’t grown much since 1843. Its size is about 2.5 sq. miles, and it has a population of fewer than 4,000 residents. The advantage of visiting this town is that it provides plenty of attractions throughout the year.

Strasburg

The legendary steam train to Paradise is found in Strasburg and provides rides daily. The nights in this small town come to life with unforgettable nightlife. There are plenty of places where you can shop, eat, and find accommodation. The town in Lancaster County first developed as a linear village and occupies 249 hectares today. It is home to about 3,200 people.
